My skin looked dull and dehydrated after all the night work during January, and I have been looking for an eye cream and toner desperately as I believe a good toner does make different to your skin. One of my favourite toner was Shu Uemura, it hydrated my skin instantly and when I 'bounced' my skin it gave me that re-bouncy effect. =] However, they have discontinue the product. After that I tried loads of other toner, L'Oreal, Vincy, some Japanese brand, Liz Earle, Bobbi Brown, Shiseido, Lancome, Clinique, SKII, Estee Lauder...........
I went to Boots the other day, and approached Origins counter they have different types of toner for you to try and also the beauty advisor was very nice and polite. Previously I would like to try the Purify Tonic and Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief as I heard quiet a lots of reviews about the mega-mushroom product line, but she suggested the Make A Difference toner would be best for me as it hydrates the skin. So far I have used it only for a week, but I have falling in love with it, I could really feel it 'boot up' my skin, felt like the toner is swimming around in my skin cell to give my skin hydration haha...
I also bought the Gin Zing eye cream because my eyes puff in the morning quiet often, again only used for a week. It is kinda in those OK~~ So So band. Will try them out for a longer time and give a review later.
I went to look for a face massage cream yesterday, as I used one before by Shiseido and I loved it however it is quiet expensive to get it in UK and I would like to try another brand. I went to Dior firstly as I know they do one, unfortunately the sale told me they don't sale it in UK =[ At that moment I saw SUQQU, although I never heard of this brand but from the poster they display and the package I instantly knew it is an asian brand (but not too sure is it Japanese or Korean) so I went to the counter and asked would they have any face massage cream. The sale told me THEY HAVE and they are having a promotion which you could have a full size of face massage cream and travelling set of Milky Cleaner, Cleaning foam and a toner. The face massage cream is a limited edition not just the packaging but the smell of the cream is different as well (like a flower smell). So far I only used twice of the face massage cream, compare with the Shiseido texture wise it is slightly thicker but it doesn't have those stickiness feel after you wash your face. The beauty advisor taught me how to do the face massage also enclosed a Massage method leaflet for me, so I could follow it step by step once I got back home. Thank you =]
Hope you guys have a nice January a new start of 2012!
xx
